Riding around the desert

So the past couple of days I've been on a different assignment at work. They needed someone to assist one of our surveyors in doing some flood certifications for Pinal county. So I've spent the last two days in the tiny towns of Mammoth and Dudleyville, Arizona. We had to track down houses that were a little difficult to find and buzz around on the rhino in the desert looking for USGS monuments. Kind of fun, but definitely different from my normal desk job.

101, 10, 60, 215, 91, 55, 5

Theses are all the freeways that I had to drive on to get home to California this last weekend. All my family was in town and my Grandma Caber was out visiting. It was fun just to have a little time to chill with the family. We really didn't do anything special. Hung out, played games, went to the beach and ate food. What else do you do when you go home. It's always just nice to be around family and also to be on vacation.

I'm excited

So a new semester of institute started this last week and I am super excited. We will be spending a whole semester on the last week of Christ life from the four gospels in the Bible. I am so excited that we will be spending the next few weeks focusing on such an important part of the Saviors life. It will be a great opportunity for me to focus on Him and His importance in my life.

We are the Champions

So for the past few weeks I've been playing on a softball team. We had an okay season. Won most of our games, but lost a couple and tied one. We ended up playing in the championship game this week... and we won! Didn't take any pictures cause I was playing, but it was still fun to play. Even better to win.

Love this...

So when I was up in Utah I had some time to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and everything around me. It was a gorgeous day to be outside so I definitely enjoyed it. My drive around the mountains was especially beautiful.

Weekend fun.

8 years ago I was roommates with these wonderful girls during my first year at BYU.This last weekend I was up in Utah to visit 5 amazing women. It's amazing, it's been 8 years since we've all been together, but we clicked so quickly. It was fun to catch up with everyone and see where life has taken each of us over those 8 years. Still crazy though so it was fun.
